JRC’s stretch retroreflective fabrics boast new textures

France-based JRC-Reflex/IBR will be introducing two new ranges at Performance Days (May 15 and 16, 2013) in Munich.

The company has applied its high-tech retroreflective coating to a piqué knit fabric, introducing a new aesthetic based on the subtly raised texture.

It now also offers a stretch retroreflective fabric made in recycled polyester. Some major sports brands have announced their intention to shift from conventional to recycled polyester by 2015.

Both new offerings are available in silver grey and super black, the company’s most popular colours, and come in fabrics up to 140cm wide.

JRC-Reflex continues to invest in the research and development in all-over retroreflection, as seen on the US Olympic team's medal winners.

The company was founded in 1988 in Romans, France, with manufacturing facilities in Bergamo, Italy. It has invested in a new factory that is three times larger than the previous one and boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure and machinery, increasing production capacity and productivity twofold.
