Haggar reaches 80m plastic bottles milestone

US menswear company Haggar Clothing has recycled more than 80 million plastic bottles through its apparel line E-CLO, which includes the LK Life Khaki brand.

The pants contain a blend of cotton and Repreve, made by polyester and nylon fibre manufacturer Unifi. It is made made from recycled materials, with each pair containing the equivalent of seven plastic bottles, according to the company.

Michael Stitt, CEO of Haggar Clothing, said: "With the use of Repreve in our E-CLO and LK Life Khaki apparel, we are proud to incorporate sustainability into our product offering."

The E-CLO and LK Life Khaki lines are available in the US, Canada and Mexico, as well as online.
