Canada focus for new Mount Vernon FR specialist

Textile manufacturer Mount Vernon Mills has appointed former DuPont executive Carolyn Black as a technical specialist in flame-resistant (FR) solutions. She will focus on the company’s flame resistant fabric brand, Mount Vernon FR. Her goal will be to increase Mount Vernon FR brand awareness among end users, especially in Canada.

Over the course of her career, Ms Black worked at organisations such as DuPont Canada and Shell Canada as a customer relationship and marketing specialist. Most recently, she worked as a marketing specialist at MWG Apparel.

Mount Vernon FR launched last year. The brand consists of six flame-resistant fabric collections of various blends, including cotton, nylon, Nomex and more.
