WRAP to support Indonesian AAFA conference
Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is to sponsor the upcoming International Product Safety and Restricted Substances Conference in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 9.
Organised by the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA), the conference will enable owners of garment, textile and footwear production units around the world to learn about the legal requirements regarding product safety for their export-oriented goods.
It will also suggest methods firms can employ to make their facilities more sustainable and compliant with internationally accepted standards.
WRAP will exhibit at the conference and president and CEO Avedis Seferian will moderate a panel on how factories, suppliers and product quality labs work together to ensure supply chains remain compliant. Mr Seferian will also deliver the event’s closing remarks.
