Schoeller appoints new business unit manager
Hendrikus van Es has been appointed business unit manager of schoeller-works, the workwear division of Schoeller Textil. Born in the Netherlands, he will also take his place on the management board.
Mr van Es will manage a team of workwear specialists and will be responsible for product development and distribution. He studied textile engineering at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Germany, majoring in textile finishing, and has many years of experience in the international textile industry.
He started his career as project manager for an interlining manufacturer. In 2000, he took over as business manager of a yarn dyeing plant before later assuming the general management of the coloured yarn business unit for a synthetic yarn manufacturer.
Switzerland-based schoeller-works develops functional and protective fabrics for uniforms, fashionable corporate wear, protective workwear and military use.
