New performance fabrics from Schoeller

26/06/2014
Textile manufacturer Schoeller has launched updated cooling fabrics for summer 2016, which it says feel “tangibly cooler”, and which will be on display at the upcoming OutDoor trade show in Germany.

The functional micro-coating on the reverse of the Cool Fabrics balances out body temperature, generating a cool comfort-climate which, it says, positively affects performance.

Cool Fabrics are available on sporty-elegant schoeller-dryskin double fabrics; light, bonded schoeller-WB-400 summer softshells with various backings; bi-elastic schoeller-shape golf pants;  and cotton fabrics or jacket qualities with silk and fine schoeller-spirit down-proof qualities.

The Swiss company will also present its summer wool-blend collection, which uses NanoSphere technology or fluorocarbon-free ecorepel to lend permanent water and dirt repellence.
