Latest offerings from Schoeller span ‘mountain to city’
Textile manufacturer Schoeller has unveiled a number of new products for the sports and outdoor sector, which will be on show at the upcoming trade fairs.
For denim that has a “high-level of comfort for the mountains, the golf course or the city”, it highlights functional synthetic fabrics with a new indigo finish, sustainably produced in Switzerland.
The indigo is available in abrasion-resistant schoeller-dryskin double-weaves with fast moisture transport and soft, bonded schoellerWB-400 soft-shells with breathability, durability and water and dirt repelling properties.
Schoeller is also offering a sporty denim look with a cotton feel in a schoeller-shape version or as shape-retaining schoeller-prestige equestrian sport fabric with “excellent recovery”.
For outdoor, the new schoellerWB-400 soft-shells with memory foam will be presented in warm beige shades and natural stone grey. Voluminous jacket fabrics in a fluffy wool look are suited to round cuts and return to their original shape.
Merino is also available as soft-shells with fluffy wool jersey or cosy wool fleece backing and smooth, plain face fabric or a structured micro design on the colour-contrasting exterior.
Similar levels of comfort and warmth are provided on the ski slopes by the water-repelling, breathable e3 protection soft-shell laminates, added the company, which will be attending trade fairs including Outdoor Retailer (US, January 21 to 25), ISPO (Germany, February 5-8) and Premiere Vision (France, February 10-12).
