Schoeller adds performance to FR fabrics

It can be used on polyamide or polyester fabrics, and now also with membranes, and provides greater freedom of movement, says the Swiss textiles company.
“Flame protection has become mandatory for personal protective equipment in many branches of industry,” it said. “This means that security staff, railway workers, police officers, staff in power stations and workers in the oil and gas industry are ideally protected when they come into contact with fire and sparks.”
When used on polyester, excellent safety results in terms of flame protection and visibility can now also be achieved in all the colours for EN ISO 20471 high-visibility clothing – neon yellow, neon orange and neon red.
