Black Diamond uses Schoeller fabrics for latest range

Climbing, skiing and mountain gear producer Black Diamond has once again used Schoeller fabrics to produce its latest alpine clothing range.

The Dawn Patrol Collection is said to offer superior protection and performance that lasts “season after season”. The end result is a durable, abrasion resistant, lightweight and breathable apparel line.

Every piece features the Swiss textile firm’s NanoSphere, a high-performance solution that repels water, dirt and oil. The Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell also features Schoeller’s c_change membrane for body-mapped protection from the elements. The shell is water- and windproof, making it suitable for long days on the mountain.

Black Diamond’s Post-Op hoody is made from schoeller-naturetec, which features brushed wool on the inside of the fabric.

The relationship between Schoeller and Black Diamond began in 1999, when the two companies created the Black Diamond Alpine pant and shirt, and the BVD pant.
