PrimaLoft launches new “hybrid insulation” product

Specialist performance insulation provider PrimaLoft will launch a “hybrid insulation” product at the start of 2014, combining its microfibre with “engineered down”. PrimaLoft Performance Down Blend Insulation is the new product’s name.

“This future-focused hybrid insulation made from functional, durable water-resistant down alongside high-performance, high-tech PrimaLoft ultra-fine fibres, combines the best qualities of both materials and offers warmth, protection and comfort no matter what the conditions, as well as outstanding dry times,” the company said at the time of the launch.

Musto, adidas, Helly Hansen, Lands’ End, Reusch and Salewa have confirmed that they will include the product in their autumn-winter 2014-2015 collections.
