Mitsui picks Gruver to sell PrimaLoft collection

Mitsui Bussan Techno Products, a Japanese company specialising in the research and development of textile technology, has appointed Joy Gruver with Gruver Consulting as its agent to sell Mitsui fabrics in the North America.  
 
Gruver’s primary focus will be Mitsui's new PrimaLoftPerformance Fabric collection designed in collaboration with PrimaLoft. 
 
Ms Gruver has over 15 years of product and sales management experience in the textile industry representing brands such as Eagle Fabrics, P2i Inc., Optimer Performance Fibers and Starensier/Cosmo Hong Kong.
 
“Joy’s extensive knowledge of performance textiles, not to mention her personable approach, have made her a valued sales consultant among many designers and product developers in the outdoor, active and sportswear markets,” said Taku Komatsubara, director of Mitsui Bussan Techno Products Textile Division. 
 
Introduced at the Outdoor Winter Market in Salt Lake City last month, the PrimaLoft Performance Fabric collection offers a broad range of technical knits primarily developed for base layer applications.
