Houston Rockets power forward Chandler Parsons has agreed a deal to join the list of athletes sponsored by Chinese athletic footwear brand Anta.

He has already begun to wear shoes from Anta to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA), which enjoys huge popularity in China.

The footwear will incorporate several personal touches, such as having the number 38 printed inside the tongue to commemorate the fact that he was pick number 38 in the NBA draft in 2011, as well as having his shirt number, 25, stitched on the back of the shoe. The upper also commemorates the player’s shirt number by incorporating 25 perforations into the material.
