Point 3 granted patent for moisture wicking technology

Basketball apparel brand Point 3 has been granted a patent for its DRYV moisture control technology after three years of examination by the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Point 3 CEO Michael Luscher said: “We are thrilled to now be the only legally authorised company able to bring this innovation to basketball players, as well as a broader array of athletes whose performance is inhibited by sweat."

DRYV provides an absorbent layer in wicking performance garments and acts as a ‘towel’ when players wish to wipe moisture from their hands or face.
