Lubrizol offers latest resins at China facility

Speciality chemicals company Lubrizol has launched two Oeko-Tex-certified thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) resins for use in breathable textiles and which are now available from its Shanghai-based manufacturing facility.

"We have listened to the global apparel industry, and there is a need to shorten the length of the supply chain. Now, our processing partners are better positioned to supply their customers in a more efficient manner," said Sally Lenhart, Lubrizol global market manager.

The resins have moisture vapour transmission values greater than 10,000 g/m²/day when tested under the ASTM International test method, E96 BW.
