Lubrizol increases TPU capacity at Shanghai plant

The company has said the new line will increase specialty applications by nearly a third. It will support Lubrizol’s engineered polymers business.
This is the second upgrade to the plant in 2019. Earlier this year, it launched a new compounding line there. Both are designed to keep up with the company’s continuous growth in Asia.
Making this announcement, Jane Cai, regional business director for Lubrizol Engineered Polymers, said: "We value the Asian market as a critical region where we can drive future success for Lubrizol. We have seen strong opportunities and broad growth in Asia and Greater China in recent years, and our continued investment will enable further customisation of materials to the specific needs of customers and markets.”
