Swiss textile developer Schoeller will present warp-knitted materials made using a new elastomeric fibre from speciality chemicals company Lubrizol at the OutDoor exhibition in Friedrichshafen (June 18-21).

Schoeller has used Lubrizol’s new X4zol-J elastomeric fibre in the fabric collection. The company has said the fabrics are suited to the running, trail running, cycling and athleisure categories that are prominent at the exhibition.

The two companies have also entered into a collaboration that will see them jointly develop new textiles. They aim to reach “previously unachieved standards” for compression, fabric elongation and wearer comfort.
