Schoeller views new Lumo gilet as a bright idea

Swiss textile developer Schoeller has described as “very interesting” a new project from UK-based cycling apparel start-up Lumo to bring to market an LED-enabled commuter gilet, made using Schoeller fabric.

The fabric Lumo is using to make the new gilet, the Holloway, uses Schoeller’s c_change bionic climate membrane, making it water and windproof and adaptive to changing temperatures and activities.

Lumo is seeking crowdfunding to launch the Holloway as part of a wider new collection.
