Delcam developments at Guangzhou
Footwear technology provider Delcam Crispin has updated its ShoeMaker CAD programme so images can now been shown to buyers on laptops, tablets or smart phones.
The program (pictured) integrates the 3D design of lasts, uppers and soles and is particularly useful for sports shoes, it says.
The 2014 version offers improved visualisation with a KeyShot rendering engine, the ability to create lasts for boot designs, more options for heel design, and additional items in the accessories library.
The UK-based company will showcase the updates at the Shoes & Leather exhibition in Guangzhou, China, on May 28 and 30.
It has also revamped its pattern making software Engineer Pro, adding ‘intelligence’ to make it more intuitive and faster to use, Delcam added.
