E-commerce is the key to new Billabong appointment

Surf apparel brand Billabong has made a strategic appointment to help it grow its e-commerce business.

The company has appointed Kadima Lonji to the role of chief technology officer for its direct-to-consumer operation.

Mr Lonji joins Billabong from eyewear group Luxottica, where he was global head of ‘omni-commerce’ systems.
