Ekocycle brings its recycled clothing idea to Harrods

10/03/2015
The Coca-Cola Company and global music artist and entrepreneur will.i.am have announced the arrival in the UK of clothing brand Ekocycle. The brand opened a shop-in-shop at famous London department store Harrods in early March.

Recycled materials are at the core of what Ekocycle is attempting to do. For example, a range of gilets called St Moritz is made from recycled polyester, with each product containing material from, on average, three large soft drinks bottles.

It aims to encourage an increase in demand for clothes made from post-consumer recycled materials and to reinforce the importance of recycling products such as plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
