VF’s head of sourcing to speak at Leeds event

The vice-president for sourcing at VF Corporation, Sean Cady, will be one of the headline speakers at the 2015 RITE Conference, which will take place at the University of Leeds on June 24. The conference will have ‘a sustainable future for fashion and textiles’ as its theme.

Organiser, the RITE Group, said on announcing the programme that it wanted the event to help textile industry professionals “move beyond prevailing assumptions” about sustainability. It said the conference would encourage delegates “to imagine alternative textile futures, where sustainability is intrinsically applied to all aspects of fashion and textiles”.
