VF offers snapshot of supply chain

VF Corp, the US-based owner of the North Face and Timberland, has published details on its supply chain, which employs 31,000.

Its 30 brands produce 562 million units of merchandise per year, moved in 21 million packages per year, and in 82 containers per day.

The group owns 1,520 stores and could fit 190 football fields into its 34 distribution facilities.
