VF names president of outdoor and action sports Americas

He was previously president of the Jeanswear Americas division.
Chief operating officer Steven Rendle said: “Scott’s personal and professional strengths make him a strong choice for this important leadership role at VF.”
In 2015, VF’s outdoor and action sports division in the Americas represented 35% of the company’s global revenue.
Kevin Bailey, president of VF action sports and Vans, will now have added responsibility to oversee VF activities in Central and South America, as well as the outdoor and action sports businesses in Canada and Mexico.
Since his appointment as Vans president in 2009, the company has achieved “significant growth”. The Vans brand delivered $2.2 billion in global revenue in 2015.
