29/04/2016
VF Corporation reported revenue of $2.8 billion in the first quarter of 2016, level with the same period last year but representing a 2% increase in currency-neutral terms.

Revenue for the North Face rose 6% (8% in currency-neutral terms), driven by strong growth in Europe. Vans revenue was down 1% (up 2% in currency-neutral terms), affected by a drop in European revenues. Revenue from Timberland saw a 2% rise (3% in currency-neutral terms) despite a minor decline in the Asia Pacific region.

“Our first quarter results demonstrate the ability of our diversified business model to perform as expected in an inconsistent environment,” said Eric Wiseman, VF chairman and CEO.
