The North Face and Timberland owner VF Corporation has appointed Rodney McMullen to its board to advise on establishing brand loyalty and growing business.

He is CEO and chairman of Kroger, one of the world’s largest grocery retailers with fiscal 2014 sales of $108.5 billion.

VF CEO Eric Wiseman said: “Rodney is a proven business leader who understands the opportunities and complexities associated with a large retail organisation that features many consumer-facing brands.”
