Haglöfs puts apparel into Trekking Pro range

Clothing it has decided to include in the range has been developed “to work and deliver far out in the wilderness”, according to the Swedish brand, “in inaccessible terrain where the weather conditions can be unstable and where clothing and equipment can be the difference between success and failure”.
Adventurer Ola Skinnarmo and nature photographer Claes Grundsten worked with Haglöfs on putting the collection together. The garments take their names from the footwear and backpacks that already form part of Trekking Pro with colours “inspired by the high mountains of Scandinavia”.
Examples include the Grym three-layer shell jacket in Gore-Tex Pro, designed for trekking. Comfortable to wear while at the same time being light in weight, the jacket, the first three-layer jacket Haglöfs has done, also has technical details such as a waterproof zipper with hook-and-loop tabs on a double wind-flap underneath, which can function either as an alternative closure or as an extra ventilation if it is warm. Zipper pulls have been enlarged slightly to make them easier to use while wearing gloves and they have a twist for better grip.
The Lex pants are new softshell trousers made from Haglöfs’ proprietary Flexable fabric. They have four-way stretch and are fully equipped with two hand pockets and two leg pockets, a zipper from hip to knee for ventilation and adjustable gaiters that can be folded up when not being used.
