Five brands exclusively launch Gore’s lightest fabric yet

Products using W.L. Gore’s lightest and most breathable fabric yet could be in stores by December, with trials at brands under way, said the US company.

The new GORE-TEX Active products feature a permanent beading surface and eliminate the need for a face fabric.

Castelli, Gore Bike Wear and Gore Running Wear, as well Arc’teryx and The North Face, will offer garments for runners and bikers next month.

They are part of a ‘staged’ approach to the launch of the material, and have been given the use of the material exclusively to begin with.
