Majestic signals a move into football with Liverpool FC deal

US-based sportswear company Majestic Athletic, part of VF Corp, has signed a deal to design and manufacture fanwear for Liverpool Football Club.

Majestic is the official uniform supplier for of Major League Baseball and is also licensed by the Major League Baseball Players Association, National Football League, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League and Collegiate Licensing Company.

It describes the Liverpool tie-up as “the beginning of its global football journey”.

Jim Pisani, Majestic president, said: “I am confident tour crave-able product, service excellence and retail proficiency will score many goals with the hundreds of millions of Liverpool FC fans across the world."

The Liverpool players’ kit is supplied by New Balance-owned Warrior.
