Patagonia strengthens its team in Austria and Germany

Mr Austermühle will lead and manage the wholesale business across Germany and Austria and support the retail and e-commerce strategies in the region. He was most recently country manager for Germany for rival brand The North Face, for whom he had worked since 2008.
At Patagonia, he will replace long-time employee Norbert Sandner, who will move to take up a new role as Patagonia’s European alpine and climbing manager.
At the same time, Laura Hoppe has been appointed to the position of environment and marketing coordinator for Germany. She joined Patagonia in 2009 and has company experience in marketing, retail, sales and environmental initiatives.
