DSM Dyneema president steps down

The president of DSM Dyneema, Gerard de Reuver, stepped down from the position on July 31 after five years and will take up a new role in a corporate culture project. The Dutch company, inventor and manufacturer of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fibre, has Golnar Motahari Pour as its new president.

Golnar Motahari Pour has been working with DSM Dyneema for the last few months as an independent consultant. From 1993 to 2007 she held a number of management positions at General Electric, in its plastics, silicones and consumer products businesses. She was later a part of the leadership team of Emerald Kalama Chemical’s plasticiser business in Europe and the Middle East.

She has lived and worked in the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Hungary, France and Germany.
