11/08/2015
Japanese knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki will take part in the Preview in Seoul exhibition in September, with the event running in the Korean capital from September 2-4.

On display will be the latest version of the company’s SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system. Shima Seiki explains that APEX3 supports design and simulation in circular knitting, weaving, pile weaving and printing. Virtual sampling, along with 3D modeling, 3D mapping and 3D fitting simulation are available for all of these processes as well.

Also on display will be the latest collection of knit samples, including seam-free knitwear, produced in one entire piece under a concept the company calls Wholegarment.
