25/09/2015
The Textile Enterprise Association of China (TEAC) has opened an official chamber of commerce operation in Phnom Penh to represent the interests in Cambodia of Chinese textile manufacturers.

According to TEAC, 70% of all garment and footwear factories in Cambodia are owned by enterprises from China, Hong Kong or Taiwan. It has said it continues to be confident of growth in the industry in Cambodia, in spite of labour costs going up there, as they have in most other regions.
