Kering hails Puma growth and highlights footwear performance

French luxury group Kering has announced revenues of just under €2.9 billion for the third quarter of 2015, an increase year on year of 12%. For the first nine months of 2015, the group’s revenues are 15.2% higher than in the same period last year at €8.4 billion.

On announcing the results, it said sales at Puma increased by 8.4% in the third quarter to reach €918.2 million. In the first nine months of 2015, Puma recorded revenues of €2.5 billion, which represents an increase of 12.8%.

Kering said on announcing the results that its Sport & Lifestyle activities had been lifted by positive sales trends in the footwear segment in particular.
