Two senior appointments at OrthoLite

Comfort and performance insole manufacturer OrthoLite has appointed John Barrett as its new chief operating officer (COO). Mr Barrett, who was formerly OrthoLite’s general manager in Asia, will keep responsibility for all Asian operations, including manufacturing, research and development, sustainability initiatives, product development, human resources, finance and administration, in his new role.

In a parallel development, OrthoLite has appointed footwear industry veteran Skip Lei as its new director of product innovation. Mr Lei, who has been running his own Portland-based innovations company, Evergreen, has been working with OrthoLite as a partner.

Mr Lei has more than 30 years’ footwear product and leadership experience with Nike, Cole Haan, Converse, and Hurley.
