13/01/2016
Textile chemicals producer Archroma has appointed James Carnahan as sustainability officer specifically for its textile specialties business.

Mr Carnahan, who joined from the BASF textile chemicals business acquired by Archroma in July 2014, will “further intensify the business focus” on more sustainable solutions, the company said on announcing the appointment. He has more than 30 years’ experience in textile chemicals.

In parallel, the company has said the list of its products that comply with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL) required no amendment when an updated list was published in December 2015. Archroma first published its list of ZDHC MRSL-compliant colourants and chemicals for textile and apparel in July 2014 and the products on that list remain compliant.
