Mammut CEO to leave

Rolf Schmid, one of the most prominent figures in the outdoor industry in Europe in recent years, has announced that he is to leave his job as chief executive of Swiss brand Mammut. He will continue in the role until Mammut finds a successor.

Chairman of parent group Conzzeta, Ernst Bärtschi, said that even after this, Mr Schmid will continue to support, in an advisory role, a strategy for Mammut’s future that he announced in 2015.
