Ho Chi Minh City to host second Vietnam Textile Summit

Key speakers will include Tran Thanh Hai, deputy director of the export-import department of the Vietnamese ministry of industry and trade and several senior VCOSA representatives. A number of global textile and apparel brands will also be represented on the speakers’ programme.
Among these, Tim Szymcek, head of lean manufacturing at New Balance, will address the summit on the topics of lean manufacturing and textile innovation, and Kasper Nossent, managing director of Dyecoo Asia, will speak about his company’s specialist subject, polyester dyeing with “zero water and zero chemicals”.
Later, Eric Wang, supply chain sustainability manager at H&M, will talk about sustainable sourcing.
