Gigi Hadid to work with Reebok on women’s wellbeing campaign
New York-based model and fitness advocate, Gigi Hadid, has become part of a campaign run by sports brand Reebok to inspire women to “celebrate the beauty of imperfection”.

On announcing her support of the campaign, Ms Hadid spoke of the value of working out in helping her achieve mental as well as physical wellbeing. “Working out isn’t only physical for me. It’s mental. It helps me escape the noise in my head. It’s the only time my mind goes quiet,” she said.

She said that during her time as a competitive athlete (she specialised in volleyball and equestrianism) she often focus too much on mistakes she had made and found herself motivated by her own imperfections and became determined to use them to help her improve. She said she will now work with Reebok to motivate women to accept their own setbacks and imperfections.

On announcing the development, Corinna Werkle, general manager of the training business unit at Reebok, said her company’s work with Gigi Hadid will empower women “to be confident enough to embrace their uniqueness”.
