Fitness and innovation at centre of new Reebok headquarters

Reebok HQ will occupy five floors of The Innovation & Design Building in Boston’s Seaport District. It will house approximately 7000 employees. The brand hopes to complete the move by Autumn 2017.
At its current headquarters, the brand has introduced what it calls the “Home of Fitness” promise, which aims to ensure its employees remain fit and healthy. Matt O’Toole, Reebok president, said this initiative would continue in Boston. The headquarters will feature a two-floor gym, multiple studio spaces and a boxing ring. It is also planning to build a one-mile running track around the facility, which will be available for use by the public.
“It will be a workplace unlike any other in the city, with amenities that will not only benefit our employees, but the local community as well,” explained Mr O’Toole.
He added that Reebok hopes to collaborate with the makers, designers, architects and entrepreneurs who currently occupy space in The Innovation & Design Building. This will include the “Makers Lab”, which will provide the public with a look at what the brand believes is the next generation of footwear and apparel manufacturing processes. It will also feature its product testing and prototyping labs.
