Anta targets boxing market with big-name signing
Chinese sportswear brand Anta Sports has signalled its intention to expand its presence in the boxing market with the signing of renowned boxer Manny Pacquiao.

The Filipino fighter is the only person to have won world boxing titles in eight different weight categories. 

At a ceremony in Las Vegas, US, Anta and Pacquiao introduced its “Fight on” range. The brand hopes the signing of Pacquiao will help it expand its global influence, as well as strengthening its presence in the boxing and training markets. 

“Pacquiao is not only a great boxer, but he serves as a great role model for all sports enthusiasts,” said Jie Zheng, president of Anta. “He is strict with his training routine and never gives up, which is in keeping with the brand spirit of Anta.”

“Anta is very professional in the research and development of boxing products as well as the promotion of boxing events,” Pacquiao commented.
