Marmot appoints new brand director

Her responsibilities will include those of former marketing director Tom Fritz, whose position was abolished in May as part of the company’s takeover by Newell Brands.
Ms Christensen most recently oversaw marketing for the VF-owned Lucy brand, which sells women’s athleisure clothing. She has also held senior marketing positions at The North Face and Chevron.
Joe Flannery, general manager of technical apparel at Newell Brands, said Ms Christensen was hired after an extensive search due to her “impressive track record of brand building”.
