Outdoor brand Mountain Khakis has increased its use of organic cotton and recycled polyester in its Autumn 2017 products.

Its Legacy range, which includes the Original Mountain Pant and the Alpine Utility Pant, will use 100% organic cotton, while several other products will use 100% recycled polyester.

“One of every five items we ship in fall (autumn) 2017 will be made of organic or recycled materials,” said Noah Robertson, co-founder of Mountain Khakis and its director of product development. “Our apparel collections present thoughtfully designed modern looks that convey the mountain lifestyle, while focusing on sustainability and performance.”

Mountain Khakis’s Autumn 2017 range, which features expanded lines for both men and women, will be presented at the forthcoming Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, US (January 10-12).
