Eurojersey to develop graphene-enhanced Sensitive fabrics

They are now conducting joint research and development activity to develop the prototypes into product samples that will be marketed to garment manufacturers.
“We are delighted to be working with Eurojersey and its Sensitive Fabrics brand,” said Directa Plus chief executive, Giulio Cesareo. “We share a commitment to quality, innovation and environmental sustainability and we are excited to further develop our joint products and look forward to bringing them to the market.”
The lamination of Sensitive fabrics with functional membranes that contain G+ graphene from Directa Plus produces what the two partners have called “a technologically advanced fabric with unique thermal features”. G+ graphene is highly thermally conductive and distributes heat from the human body in cold weather and absorbs it in hot weather. The prototype fabrics, which Eurojersey had on display at ISPO 2017 in Munich, also show high elasticity and a high grade of breathability, waterproofness and windproofness.
General manager of Eurojersey, Andrea Crespi, commented: “These fabrics are ideal for outfits that pair functionality and aesthetics thanks to the ultra-thin layers, the raw-cut edges, and their resistance to pilling and to shrinkage. We believe that these qualities will attract the attention of brands that especially focus on innovation and performance.”
