Eurojersey updates its graphene-containing fabric offering

Directa says the inclusion of G+ provides a bacteriostatic effect as well as even distribution of body heat and a heat dispersion effect in hot weather.
Both companies have previously partnered with Directa; Colmar has used Eurojersey’s graphene fabric in two other collections.
Eurojersey uses graphene in two forms: as a membrane bonded to one or two layers of Sensitive fabric or as a printed pattern. “The advantage of printing is that it requires lower quantities of graphene and is therefore cheaper. It also enables the graphene-enhanced fabric to be worn closer to the skin, where its thermal conductivity and antibacterial properties are most effective,” said Matteo Cecchi, Eurojersey’s sales manager.
The company’s latest development is a Sensitive fabric printed with a layer of graphene in a honeycomb pattern. “Its ability to diffuse heat helps avoid any hot spots,” Michela delle Donne, marketing director, told sportstextiles.
Giulio Cesareo, CEO of Directa Plus, said: “The considerable interest we received at ISPO for our graphene-based products is testament to the high-performance qualities that they bring to garments, which are enjoyed by professionals and sports enthusiasts alike.”
