Graphene specialist brings in new head of sales from WL Gore

Supplier of graphene-based products for use in consumer and industrial markets, including sports clothing and equipment, Directa Plus has announced that WL Gore executive Luca Provolo will take over as its new head of sales with effect from September 4.

Luca Provolo has worked for more than 25 years at WL Gore but said at the time of the announcement that he had decided to join Directa Plus because of its G+ technology and its “conscientious approach” of partnering with potential customers at an early stage and working closely with them to develop graphene solutions suited to their consumers’ needs.

He added: “There is enormous potential for the incorporation of G+ in textiles and I look forward to further developing these opportunities.”

Chief executive, Giulio Cesareo, commented: “Luca’s experience working in the highest echelon of the textiles sector will prove invaluable to the company and help further develop the relationships we have established with some of the world’s best-known brands.”
