NSF and Textile Exchange to merge down standards

The organisations hope that combining the best attributes from each of the current standards will result in a framework that ensures that birds are treated well across the down supply chain.
80 brands have so far chosen to certify their down supply chain by either the RDS or the Global TDS. Textile Exchange and NSG International will create an international working group with representatives from brands, suppliers, animal welfare groups and other interested parties to ensure the process of merging the standards is open and transparent.
