New Gerber CEO relishes early chance to meet colleagues, customers and competitors

Speaking to media at a special event Gerber organised at the show, Dr Uberoi said he was greatly looking forward to the role.
His time in charge of the company has begun, he explained, after a first quarter that was “one of the best in terms of bookings” that the company has had in the last six years.
He also said he had enjoyed attending the exhibition because it gave him an instant opportunity to see close at hand and all at the same time members of the Gerber team, customers and competitors.
“What I know already,” he said, “is that Gerber has great hardware, great software and great people. In addition, I know this company understands the pressures our customers are under in terms of margins and profitability.”
