Gerber veteran announces retirement after nearly 50 years

Mr Simpson has held many positions at Gerber during his near 50-year tenure, including general manager of the Americas, vice president of global sales and director of the company’s international vision. Gerber has said he was “integral” in the expansion of its business activities in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
“It has been a privilege to work alongside Sam and learn about the industry,” said Peter Morrissey, senior vice president of global sales at Gerber. “Sam’s knowledge of the industry, customers and markets is unparalleled and we thank him for his years of service.”
Mr Simpson will continue to serve as a consultant to the company. He will also be a special advisor to Gerber CEO Mohit Uberoi, who only took on the role in May.
