Private equity firm invests in Gerber Technology

Apparel software developer Gerber Technology has announced that New York-based private equity firm AIP has made an important investment in the company, acquiring all outstanding shares.

Gerber chief executive, Mike Elia, said the technology provider is “very excited” to have the new investment. AIP partner Justin Fish said his firm will aim to help Gerber “execute on key growth initiatives”.
