New chief executive takes the helm at Gerber

Specialist apparel industry technology provider Gerber has appointed Mohit Uberoi as its new CEO. He replaces Mike Elia, who retired from the role on May 5.

Mr Elia will join Gerber’s board of directors in order to continue to “provide leadership and ongoing counsel”, the company announced. 

Mr Uberoi was previously president and CEO of printing technology provider Goss International. He has also served as chief executive of energy and environmental technology specialist B&W Megtec. 

“I am inspired to join a company that has a long-standing history of innovation dating back to its founder, Joseph Gerber,” he said. “My vision for Gerber is to continue to help customers Embrace Their Digital Reality with products that accelerate speed to market.”
